What Is the King James Bible?
The King James Bible is the Christian Bible translated into English in 1611. It contains the Old Testament and the New Testament. Its main message is that God created humanity, humanity fell into sin, God promised redemption, and that redemption is fulfilled through Jesus Christ.
Creation and the Fall
The Bible begins with God creating the heavens and the earth. Humanity is made in God's image, but sin enters the world through disobedience. Because of sin, the world becomes broken by death, suffering, and separation from God.
The Old Testament
God chooses Abraham and forms the nation of Israel. Through Israel, God gives His law, makes covenants, raises prophets, and promises a Messiah. The Old Testament shows both God's holiness and His mercy โ from creation and the Exodus to the Psalms, the prophets, and hope.
The New Testament
The New Testament reveals Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah. Jesus teaches, heals, forgives sinners, dies on the cross, and rises from the dead. His death pays for sin and His resurrection brings hope of eternal life. Salvation comes through faith, repentance, and grace.
Revelation and Final Hope
The Bible ends in Revelation, where evil is judged, Christ returns in victory, and God makes all things new. The final hope is that God will dwell with His people forever, with no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain.
God created us, humanity fell into sin, Jesus came to save us, and God will one day restore everything through His kingdom.
